Jewelry Case
Customer Requirements
- Customer Background: The customer is a jewelry designer.
- Application Scenario: The jewelry box is used to hold rings and other small jewelry items.
- Demand Profile: Designer, acrylic jewelry box
WeProFab Preliminary Solution
- Process Overview: Acrylic cutting, magnet bonding, velvet fabric bonding; the jewelry box features a hexagonal shape.
- Materials: Acrylic + Velvet Fabric
WeProFab Final Successful Solution
- Process Details: Acrylic sheets were cut into small components and bonded together. A hinge was added to facilitate opening and closing. Once the exterior was completed, internal dividers made of felt fabric were added to organize the interior space.
- CTQ (Critical-to-Quality Challenge): Creating an aesthetically pleasing design required precise attention to detail. Joint lines were prone to yellow staining caused by glue, and the depth of the internal dividers had to be carefully controlled to ensure rings could be easily retrieved without getting stuck.
- Final Product Delivery: Awaiting the customer’s new design input; the initial draft has been completed.
