He come to us and looking for supply of oxygen delivery components, typically 15Lpm & 45Lpm flow meters, custom 15Lpm flow meter/ regulator assemblies and O2 delivery manifolds.

And this oxygen flow meter, they are looking for supply to aquaculture there, where the long time supplier has withdrawn from the market. For next step, customer wanna us to provide his more samples, some sample is standard oxygen flow meter, some of them are customization. All samples are sent to customer and waiting their test result for next move.

Processes: The float flow meter (Thorpe Tube) is a type of flow meter based on the principle of variable area measurement. Its core structure consists of a conical measuring tube, a float, a guiding device, inlet and outlet connectors, and a regulating valve.

Preparation and design development:

Based on the application scenario (industrial), determine the technical parameters: measurement range, accuracy grade, working pressure Optimize the conical pipe taper, float shape (spherical / ellipsoidal / disc-shaped), and guiding structure to ensure flow linearity.

Design anti-defect structures: Use different thread specifications at the inlet and outlet to prevent reverse connection.

Raw materials:

Metal materials (stainless steel / brass): Provide material certificates, test composition, hardness and corrosion resistance

Glass / PC tubes: Check transparency, uniformity of wall thickness and internal stress to prevent later cracking

Sealing components (PTFE/EPDM): Test oxygen resistance and high-temperature stability.

Processes descriptions: The industrial aquatic product oxygen float flow meter is made of 316L stainless steel and salt-resistant engineering plastic as the base material. The core components such as the conical tube, float, and regulating valve are processed by CNC turning and precise injection molding. All oxygen contact parts undergo ultrasonic solvent decreasing and pure water rinsing and drying in a clean workshop. The guide components, float, and sealing parts are assembled coaxially to ensure smooth movement without sticking. Then, it is calibrated and corrected at multiple points according to the commonly used oxygen pressure range for aquaculture. After passing pressure resistance, air tightness, and salt spray aging tests, it is marked with permanent scale and packaged with moisture-proof and dust-proof measures for factory delivery.

Critical to Quality: ① The oxygen-free components are thoroughly degreased to prevent the explosion of high-pressure oxygen; ② The cone pipe taper and the coaxiality of the float are precisely controlled to ensure the linear accuracy of flow measurement under aquatic conditions; ③ The selection and surface treatment of corrosion-resistant materials suitable for high-humidity and salt-spray environments; ④ The precise calibration and sealing reliability test of the oxygen pressure range specifically designed for aquatic use.
