5. Double tack dry adhesive foam

11. Hammer/metal block
12. Paper punch

· Clear Face Mask Assembling Steps:

Cut the clear craft plastic material into a single 12 X 8 piece with a pair of scissors leaving the protective layer intact.

Use a ruler to measure three one-inch strips of the ¼” foam and cut them with a pair of scissors.

Use a ruler to measure three one-inch strips of the double tack dry adhesive foam and cut them with your pair of scissors.

Now cut these pieces to match the width of the clear face mask plastic piece (8”).

Join the three strips of ¼” and double tack dry adhesive foam together.

Shape the bonded piece with your hand to the approximate curvature required for the face mask.

Hold it against the clear craft plastic material and over your face to get the right angle.

Position the two pieces of elastic on either side of the clear craft plastic material at the positions you want them.

Use a black marker to mark where you are going to make holes on the clear craft plastic material.

Use a paper punch to punch holes, both on the clear craft plastic material and the elastic.

Remove the protective layer at points where you will place the rivets.

Use the awl to make holes into the elastic.

Push the bottom part of the rivets through the elastic and the clear craft plastic material.

Attach the top part of the rivets from the other side using a hammer.

Add Velcro to the end of the elastic bands.

Remove the protective layer from the clear craft plastic material and attach the bonded piece of foam.
