How to produce a CPE tube?
The production of a CPE tube requires the following steps.
Step 1: You should chlorinate polyethylene in hydrochloric acid, control the chlorine content between 25%-45%, and synthesize CPE resin.
Step 2: You can mix CPE with PVC, plasticizers, etc. to improve the impact resistance of the CPE tube.
Step 3: You should heat the mixture to a molten state of 160-200°C, and then extrude it into a ring mold through an extruder to form the tube.
Step 4: You should use water cooling or other cooling methods to quickly cool the CPE tube to keep the size of the tube stable.
Step 5: You should test the density, chemical resistance, impact strength, and other properties of the CPE tube, and finally cut it into the required length.
How to package and store the CPE tube?
Packaging: You should use composite woven bags or PE plastic film to wrap the CPE tube, and seal the ends of the tube with plastic covers or tape to prevent dust and moisture from entering. Small-diameter tubes can be fixed with strapping tape, and each bundle has the same length to prevent rolling during transportation. Large-diameter tubes can be supported by wooden or steel frames, and corner guards should be added to the edges to prevent collision and deformation. In addition, you should indicate the product specifications, production date, and warning signs such as “moisture-proof” and “light-proof” on the outer packaging.
Storage: You should store CPE tubes at a temperature between -10°C and 40°C and a relative humidity of ≤70%. And be careful not to place the CPE tube in direct sunlight, and it needs to be covered with UV-proof tarpaulin. In addition, you should place the CPE tube flat on the ground or a pallet, not upright.
