Precision Machining Process
Weprofab has a fine processing method to ensure that each CPVC sheet has a smooth and even appearance. Firstly, we will use the fixture to fix the plate to avoid vibration when cutting. Then we use a laser cutting machine to cut the CPVC sheet, and we can control the precision to ±0.1mm. After cutting, our workers will use a file and 240-400 grit sandpaper to evenly sand the edges of the cut to ensure smoothness. After cutting, we will use a special cleaner to remove the oil and dust on the surface of CPVC boards, then spray anti-oxidation primer and cover with protective film to prevent scratching during transportation.

How to Produce CPVC Sheet?
The production of CPVC sheet requires the following steps.
Step 1: You should add CPVC resin and stabilizers, lubricants, and other additives to the mixer in the proportion of 100 parts of CPVC resin, 3-5 parts of stabilizers, and 0.5-2 parts of lubricants to mix them thoroughly. The temperature should be controlled at 120-130°C for about 5-10 minutes to ensure uniform mixing.
Step 2: You should use a twin-screw extruder to heat the raw material to a molten state and extrude it into a slab using a T-shaped die, the thickness of which is adjusted by the die lip gap.
Step 3: You should use water cooling or natural cooling to cool and shape the high-temperature sheet.
Step 4: You should cut and sand, and polish the sheet to ensure the surface of the sheet is smooth and flat.
Standard size CPVC sheets are priced at $7.26/tablet when ordering 1-9 tablets. For 50-99 sheets, the price is $6.26/sheet. The price for large quantity order is $2,000-3,000/ton.
PVC sheet has a chlorine content of about 56%, while CPVC sheet has a chlorine content of 63%-69%. CPVC sheet can withstand higher temperatures and stronger tensile strength, and has better corrosion resistance and flame retardant properties than traditional PVC sheet. CPVC sheet is commonly used in high-temperature, highly corrosive environments, while PVC is more commonly used in conventional environments.
