WeProFaB PA rods can be processed into the shape and size you want and in different colours such as white, black, blue, natural, green, yellow, beige, grey or customized. The diameters are from 8mm to 400mm and thicknesses are from 2 to 300mm.
In addition, due to their characteristics, our PA rods can also be used for milling applications and machining. We also offer several grades of PA rods, each with specific properties suitable for different applications. The most common grades of polyamide rods are: PA6, PA66, PA12, PA46, PA11.

Polyamide welding rods are used for plastic welding to join or repair polyamide parts. It provides a robust and durable weld for applications such as automotive, industrial equipment and repair of nylon parts.

PA6 rod is used in the manufacture of gears, bushings and bearings. It is durable, machinable and works well in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +100°C. It is used in the manufacture of gears, bushings and bearings.

PA66 rod is a strong, heat-resistant engineering plastic used in the manufacture of gears, bushings and structural components. It has excellent abrasion and chemical resistance for demanding applications.

PA12 rod is a lightweight, stable, chemically resistant polyamide used for precision parts, insulators and components in the aerospace, automotive and electrical industries.

PA11 Rod is a durable, flexible polyamide made from renewable castor oil. It has excellent chemical resistance and is used in aerospace, automotive and industrial applications.

PA Cast Rod is a polyamide rod produced by casting with low internal stress and enhanced wear resistance. It is ideal for heavy duty components such as rollers and bushings.
Key Features of WeProFab PA Rods
Designed for high-performance applications, WeProFab PA rods offer high mechanical strength, stiffness and hardness, as well as excellent toughness and impact resistance. With good ageing resistance and thermal stability, these rods can withstand temperatures between -50°C and 110°C, making them ideal for extreme environments.
They have excellent abrasion resistance, good glide properties and chemical stability to solvents and fuels. Our rods also offer excellent machinability, mechanical damping, dimensional stability and electrical insulation, as well as excellent heat and weather resistance. In addition, for precise applications, dimensional changes due to moisture absorption should be considered.

Versatile Applications of WeProFab PA Rods
WeProFab PA rods are widely used in the manufacture of wear-resistant parts and transmission structural components, and are essential materials for appliance parts, automotive manufacturing parts, and chemical machinery parts, as well as for chemical equipment such as turbines, gears, bearings, impellers, and cranks. Other key applications include instrument panels, drive shafts, valves, blades, screws, pressure washers, nuts, seals, shuttles, bushings and connectors.
Our PA rods are well suited for applications requiring FDA and USDA compliance (natural variants), as well as for the production of bushings, rollers, manifolds, sprockets, pulleys, insulators and more.
PA12 has better flexibility, chemical resistance and low moisture absorption, making it ideal for automotive and electrical applications.
PA6 is stronger and more wear-resistant, and performs better in high-temperature and heavy-duty applications such as gears and bearings.
Yes, PA rods (polyamide rods) can be recycled. Polyamide materials (including PA6 and PA12) are thermoplastic, which means they can be melted down and reprocessed into new products. Recycling helps to reduce waste and conserve resources.
