Excellent Properties of Weprofab PP Pipe

Resistant to all kinds of strong acid, strong alkali corrosion, suitable for corrosive liquid transportation.

Conforms to the standards of HG20539-92 and QB1929-93, non-toxic and harmless.

It can be used at temperatures ranging from -20℃ to 70℃ in the long term, and can withstand high temperatures of 95℃ in the short term.

The heat conduction coefficient is only 1/200 of steel pipe, which can reduce the heat loss.

Smooth and uniform inner wall with low flow resistance prevents the generation of scale.

It can still maintain good flexibility at a low temperature of -20℃ and will not freeze or crack.

Modified PP pipe can withstand high-strength impact.

Density 0.90-0.91g/cm³, lighter than traditional metal pipes, easy to install and transport.

Support heat fusion welding, electric fusion connection, etc., good sealing, and convenient construction.
Excellent Properties of Weprofab PP Pipe
Excellent Processing Technology
Weprofab has a large roller cutter that can cut your PP pipe efficiently and ensure a flat and even cut surface. In addition, we have efficient welding equipment that can quickly heat the pipe to a molten state and quickly weld and cool it down to set the shape.

Detailed Surface Finishing
Weprofab grinds and polishes each semi-finished product and chamfers the edges of the cuts to ensure a smooth surface. In addition, we wash the PP pipe several times to ensure that no debris remains.

How to Produce PP Pipe?
The production of PP pipe requires the following steps.
Step 1: You should choose a high-quality polypropylene resin pellet as the base material and add a catalyst. Then, remove the water from the raw material to ensure the stability of subsequent processing.
Step 2: You should heat the raw material to the molten state through the extruder, push the molten material to the pipe mold through the high pressure generated by the screw rotation, and then shape the PP pipe through circumferential shear or axial stretching.
Step 3: You should pass the molded PP pipe through a vacuum sizing sleeve or a spraying water tank for quick cooling to fix the shape and prevent it from deformation.
Step 4: You should pull out the cooled PP pipe by the traction machine at a uniform speed to make sure the diameter and wall thickness are even, and cut it to the desired length by an automatic cutting machine.
Step 5: You should polish the cutting surface of the PP pipe to remove burrs and make sure the edge and surface of the cut are smooth.
Step 6: You should conduct a series of quality tests on the PP pipe, including high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and compression resistance tests. Make sure it meets industry standards.
Small-diameter PP pipe costs between $0.28/m and $0.35/m, and large-diameter industrial-grade PP pipe costs about $7.60/m.
Weprofab’s PP pipe meets industry certifications like ISO 9001, NSF 61, NSF 14, EN 1852-1, EN 12201, ASTM F2389, HG20539-92, QB1929-93, RoHS/REACH, UL94 V-0.
The service life of Weprofab’s PP pipes is related to the field of application. PP pipes used for drinking water, building water supply, and drainage can last up to 50 years. The life span of PP pipe used for corrosive liquid transportation in chemical plants is only 10-20 years.
