Classification of PTFE rods

Given different manufacturing techniques, PTFE rods can be divided into PTFE pressed rod, PTFE extruded rod and PTFE molding rod. PTFE pressed rod is produced by compressing PTFE powder into a preformed shape and then sintering it at high temperatures. PTFE molding rod is formed by compression molding PTFE resin into a rod shape using heat and pressure. PTFE extruded rod is manufactured by extruding PTFE resin through a die to form a continuous rod shape. Each type has different advantages and properties in terms of dimensions, surface finish and cost considerations.
